i really like pretty food.

and i adore super easy recipes. (because i cannot cook at all. emphasis on AT ALL.)

i am sometimes made fun of for the little dance i do when i eat good food. yes, it makes me that happy.

i also like it when other people share their really delish and easy recipes on the internet.

like this girl emma. and her blog from scratch. she's also rather hilarious. would love to meet her in person someday.

any extra time you have should be spent reading her blog and eating some of her recipes.....like these!

wow. at last!

i learned so much about God, about myself, about a lot of things this past year. grew in new ways and saw God's faithful hand in my life every day. i still can't believe i made it this far. ha! only by His grace.

oh, that my back would grow stronger this year! that i would continue to lean on the only steadfast rock, and not on myself. that i would learn to apply my head knowledge. not just know things, but do them. that i would continue to love and serve others when it hurts, just like my Saviour did for me. that i would have a childlike spirit instead of a cold cynical one. that i would make much of Him and fear Him and love Him and find all my joy in Him and be content in Him alone.

so many smiles today. it's snowing for the first time this year (after having summer weather only two days ago?), i found an amazing photograph of my grandfather who i never had the pleasure of meeting, and some hot decaf (iknowsad) english breakfast tea. simple things make me smile. bliss!

since the semester has ended, i've been needing to release some design energy...

i've had this crazy alice in wonderland design for a little girls room/baby's room in my head for quite a while and thought i would share. here are some elements from urban outfitters, etsy, and anthropologie that would go in the "room". it doesn't include general finishes of course....but it's all the fun stuff!! *smile

especially since everyone already knows how much i love weddings and everything about them.
